The latest film to hit the big screen, the latest to be nominated for an Oscar, the newest to be awarded an Academy Award, the most-watched animated movie of the year.
It is, of course, all the news and nothing but it’s the latest in a long line of new arrivals that will surely be making a big impression on the moviegoing public.
In a previous article we looked at how Pixar has made a big splash with its upcoming films and we saw how Pixar is currently at the forefront of animation innovation and the impact of its new generation of talent on the world of animation.
In this article, we’ll take a look at the films coming out this year and see if they have what it takes to make a splash with the moviegoer.
We are very excited to announce the winners of our annual Film Academy Award nominations for best animated feature.
The Academy Awards are celebrating their 20th anniversary and we couldn’t be more excited to see how the Academy Awards will be presented to our amazing nominees this year.
The Oscars are held annually in January in Hollywood, California.
The ceremony will be broadcast live on NBCUniversal Studios Television, and the live stream will be available on the Academy’s website at www.academyawards.org.
Our nominees are announced by a panel of experts and we will reveal their winners in a special ceremony on Tuesday, January 18, at 7:00 pm EST.
These are the nominees we have selected for our annual Oscars Best Animated Feature Awards.
We have selected films that have the potential to make an immediate impact on the future of animated storytelling.
We’ve included films from our filmography, as well as recent animated features, from both the big studios and independent studios.
For this year’s nominees, we’ve selected films from Pixar, Disney, Lucasfilm, DreamWorks Animation, Paramount Pictures, Twentieth Century Fox, Dreamworks Animation, Universal Pictures, and Warner Bros. These nominees are also included in the “Best Animated Feature” category for each year of the Academy.
The nominees will be announced at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences Annual Meeting, held February 22-24 in Los Angeles, California, the same day as the Oscars.
