The Irish Telecommunication Company (ITC) is planning to change the name of its cable television network to MTF, which is short for MTG.MTF will also be renamed as “The Irish Telecom”, a move that will make it easier to identify the new network.
The change is being made because it is the first time a cable network is being called MTF since the company changed its name from ITC to MTG in 2013.
The name MTF is also an acronym for Mobile Telecommunications Fibre Line, a line that allows fibre-to-the-node (FTTN) connections to other mobile devices, such as laptops and tablets.
The MTF line connects mobile devices to the cable-based fibre network and it is designed to be used for internet, TV, and telecommunications services.
It is the latest change for the company.
It was founded in 2004 and its main products are cable TV, broadband internet, and mobile phones.
The company has been in a long-running feud with its main competitor, the Orange Co. MTF has had its share of problems and has been hit by the drop in the value of the euro since the start of the year.
