The day I found out that my ex-girlfriend was cheating on me with a cat, I was already sick of cats and wanted to do everything in my power to avoid them in the future.
That was back in November of 2013, and I had been trying to get over her for over a year.
She had been living with us since we broke up.
But I had a plan to make it work.
So, with the help of my cat, we started a DIY cat sanctuary.
This month, we’ve been able to raise over $5,000, and now have some of the most gorgeous cats in the world, like an emaciated husky named Binky, and a cat named Straya, who is now a permanent resident at the sanctuary.
But the biggest success story of all came from our volunteer cats, who were able to save our lives from a cat that had been neutered and living on our property for five years.
In addition to being able to have cats that were on the street at the time, these cats have also saved our lives through surgery, vaccinations, and other surgeries.
And they were also able to perform a lot of surgeries on themselves, which has really helped them and their families.
So thanks to the amazing volunteers at the Sanctuary, I feel like I’m in a much better place right now, and the next time I’m out, I’ll do my best to get to the rescue station.
